It is up to the person if they have experience in the past and if you enjoy the DJ and the way that they sound. I would say the next natural step is to meet with them, this is something you should do in person.

If you feel like you can relate to this person on a different level other then business, and it is more personable that is a plus that is huge. Because you know that this person is going to care about your opinion and about what you want.
